Wilkerstat Geospatial Framework and Payload Updating Training 2022

Currently, BPS Gorontalo Utara is holding a Training for Updating the Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Contents for 2022 Batch II which will take place at Graha Anbril (21 to 22 February 2022). The first wave was held on 16 to 17 February 2022. These two activities were opened by the Head of BPS Kab. In this case, North Gorontalo was represented by Mr. Munif Widodo, SE and Mr. Andrianto Saputra, SST as Regional instructors.

One of the efforts to achieve quality data is the availability of an up-to-date statistical work area master framework (WILKERSTAT). Since SP2020, BPS has maintained two types of master frameworks, namely the Census Block (BS) and the Local Environmental Unit (SLS) where the BS area is formed based on the homogeneity of the SLS content. Given the dynamic changes in SLS from year to year, updating activities are needed to obtain quality wilkerstat.

Geospatial Updating Activities are also carried out through the preparation of agricultural land cover classification maps so that they can be used more widely for various agricultural statistical needs.
