BPS Gorontalo Utara Regency held the Advanced SP2020 Socialization on Thursday, 19 May 2022 at Graha Anbril, Kwandang District, Gorontalo Utara Regency. The event was attended by the Acting Regent of Gorontalo Utara, Mr. Tariq Modanggu, M.Pdi, several related OPDs and the sub-district head of Gorontalo Utara Regency. The Acting Regent of Gorontalo Utara hopes for the support of the entire community to make the Advanced SP2020 activities a success.
In addition, there was a material presentation by the Acting Head of BPS Gorontalo Utara, Mr. Rudi Cahyono, SST, M.Si regarding the implementation of Advanced SP2020 in Gorontalo Utara Regency. In the implementation of this Advanced SP2020, not all households were visited, but it was carried out on a sample basis. The number of samples in Gorontalo Utara Regency is 5,152 households spread across all sub-districts. Implementation of the update on 15-31 May 2022 and field data collection on 1-30 June 2022. Advanced SP2020 will produce demographic parameters and other population characteristics for the purposes of population projections and SDGs indicators.
The material presentation was also delivered by the Head of BAPPPEDA of Gorontalo Utara Regency, Mr. Dr. Faizal Piu, SE, MM. on Data for Development Planning. Data plays a role in planning, determining plans, controlling the implementation of plans, and evaluating the implementation of plans. Development starts with data and generates data.
