Abstract

In October 2019, the NTP (General NTP) of Gorontalo Province was recorded at 102.96 or decreased by -1.70 percent when compared to the situation in September 2019 which was recorded at 104.74. The NTP of each subsector was recorded at 105.06 for the Food Crop Subsector (NTP-P), 108.55 for the Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H), 98.72 for the People's Plantation Plant Subsector (NTP-R), 102.14 for the Livestock Subsector (NTP-T), and 94.79 for the Fisheries Subsector (NTN).
Of the 10 provinces in Eastern Indonesia, there are 5 provinces whose NTP is above 100. The highest NTP is achieved by West Sulawesi Province at 112.23, followed by South Sulawesi Province at 103.59, West Papua Province at 103.23, then Gorontalo Province at 102.96 percent. The lowest Farmer Exchange Rate occurred in Southeast Sulawesi Province at 93.06, then North Sulawesi Province at 93.34, Papua Province at 93.65, Central Sulawesi Province at 95.36, and North Maluku Province at 97.86. The national NTP of 104.04 increased by 0.16 percent from the previous month recorded at 103.88.
In October 2019, inflation occurred in rural areas in Gorontalo Province by 2.33 percent. Inflation occurred due to an increase in the price index in the foodstuffs group by 4.33 percent, the processed food group by 0.44 percent, the education, recreation and sports group by 0.11 percent and the transportation and communication group by 0.53 percent. While the housing group experienced an index decline of -0.02 percent. While the clothing and health groups did not experience changes in the index.
Gorontalo Province's Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) in October 2019 was 121.90 or decreased by -0.12 percent compared to NTUP in September 2019.
